About Faith Unplugged
Faith Unplugged exists to help ordinary people build a resilient faith that lasts when life doesn’t go according to plan.
Every week, I write about following Jesus in the real world. We wrestle with doubt, disappointment, church hurt, leadership, purpose, relationships, and the everyday moments where faith is either tested or strengthened.
This isn’t a place for shallow inspiration or religious performance. It’s a place for honest conversations rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus.
If you read Faith Unplugged, you’ll discover that following Christ isn’t about pretending everything is fine. It’s about learning to trust Him in every season.
This publication is for you if...
You’ve been hurt by the church but don’t want to walk away from Jesus.
You want to understand scripture instead of settling for quick devotional thoughts.
You’re trying to build a faith that can survive disappointment, suffering, and unanswered questions.
You’re a leader, volunteer, pastor, or parent who wants to influence others without losing your own soul.
You’re looking for biblical encouragement that is both honest and practical.
About The Creator
Hi, I’m Chris.
I’m a Pastor, writer, worship leader, and someone who has spent most of his life discovering that God’s grace is far bigger than I ever imagined.
I serve as a Pastor in Idaho, where I spend my weeks preaching, leading worship, developing leaders, and helping people take their next step toward Jesus. But long before ministry became my vocation, it became my rescue.
Like many people, I’ve wrestled with seasons of doubt, disappointment, unanswered prayers, and wondering where God was in the middle of it all. Those experiences didn’t destroy my faith. They deepened it.
Over the years, I’ve had countless conversations with people who quietly carry the same questions.
People who love Jesus but struggle with the church.
People who feel forgotten.
People who wonder if they’ll ever hear God’s voice again.
People who are trying to hold their families together while wondering if they’re enough.
Those conversations became the heartbeat behind Faith Unplugged.
I don’t write because I have life figured out.
I write because I’ve discovered that God is faithful even when life isn’t easy, and I want others to experience that same hope.
Why Faith Unplugged?
The world doesn’t need more noise.
It needs voices willing to tell the truth with grace.
Faith Unplugged is built on a simple conviction.
Real faith grows when we stop pretending.
Every article is written to help you know Jesus more deeply, think biblically about the challenges you face, and take practical steps toward spiritual maturity.
Some articles explore difficult questions.
Some challenge the church to be healthier.
Some encourage weary believers who feel like giving up.
Others simply remind us that God’s grace still meets ordinary people on ordinary days.
My goal isn’t just to give you something interesting to read.
It’s to help you walk away loving Jesus a little more than when you started.
