God works in mysterious ways—I just finished watching “The House of David” on Amazon Prime, which inspired me to read more about the life of David in the Bible, and now, I just came across this article. I think God is trying to tell me something. 🤔 I truly enjoyed reading this article—it really spoke to me. Thank you! 🙏🏻
That’s really amazing timing. I love how God does that, where something sparks your interest and then He keeps speaking through it.
I’m glad the article met you in that space. Sounds like He’s drawing you deeper into David’s story for a reason. Appreciate you sharing that with me. 🙏
That’s so good. Marriage really is one of the clearest places we get to live this out day to day. Seeing God at work in your spouse and choosing to protect them, especially under pressure, that’s where real love gets tested and built.
Real friendship is one of the rarest gifts God gives.. David and Jonathan reminds us that covenant love is deeper than convenience, and most of us feel the ache of how uncommon that really is
You said that really well. Covenant over convenience is such a needed reminder right now. I think a lot of us feel that ache you mentioned, which is probably why stories like David and Jonathan hit so deeply. Appreciate you sharing that.
Thank you for this. As soon as I got the notification about this post I stopped and read it. This type of friendship (the lack thereof) has been on my mind a lot lately and it feels like this was written for me.
Thank you for sharing that. I’m really glad you stopped and read it.
And I hear what you’re saying. That tension of wanting deeper friendship but not quite having it yet is real for a lot of people. You’re not alone in that, even if it feels like it sometimes.
Praying God brings the right people into your life at the right time, and gives you the courage to step into it when He does.

Great post…with many of the same opportunities within a marriage as well, seeing God at work in our spouse, and protecting them when under pressure!

Appreciate you adding that perspective.

I’m so glad you wrote this and that “you’re here!”
That means a lot, thank you. I almost didn’t include that part, but I think a lot of people need to hear “you’re here” more than we realize.
