When I was younger, I never liked surprises. I never understood the right way to respond, and if I was disappointed, how was I supposed to hide that? I now know as a middle aged woman, that I can bring my disappointments with the waiting process to God, and also learn to love the surprises He gives me, after I have waited. In His time.
I have learned that my plans are never something to compare to God's plans. Thats like comparing mud pies with 5 star pastry chef pies. One is a pie. One is mud. My plans are mud. Lol

Decided to spend less time with “the machine” and more time with Jesus in prayer, and investing more time in cultivating personal relationships with real people vs falling for the “illusion of relationship” that these devices so seductively create.
lol. I remember before McDonald’s & Wendy’s. The I want it & I want it now generation. Trust takes time to build. Loyalty takes longer. Trust & be loyal to God & you’ll go far. A simple relationship. You & God. How are you going to spend eternity with God if you don’t have a relationship with him? Just being real.
