Excellent and true! Despite his success, Elijah got so overwhelmed that he literally ran away. When God finally had an audience with him, Elijah claimed to be “the only one left.” So overwhelmed that he couldn’t think straight! But strengthened and rested, he was able to get back to what God had called him to with renewed energy and focus. We need to care enough for ourselves and our health to read the signs of exhaustion and give ourselves a break!
