A lot of times, God is using the situation to change us." Oof that hit. I just wrote a piece on waiting. This was good! So good! I thought about Joseph..and if I'm honest I feel like I'm in the prison part. Just stuck in what's going on in my life. Thank you for this! Even with me writing my own piece, this was another good viewpoint!! Thanks, brother!
I Loved your encouraging words. God is even with you when your grieving!! My Husband passed away on February 19, 2026. Jesus is amazing! I Glorify him! I've learned that in my grief journey that I can have JOY because of JESUS!! He's giving me a Supernatural peace that passes understanding!
This was such a timely and encouraging read. Thank you for putting words to something so many of us quietly wrestle with. The way you described waiting not as wasted time, but as a place where God is actively shaping us, really stayed with me.
I especially appreciated the reminder that God is still present even when nothing seems to be changing. That truth can be hard to hold onto in the middle of a long season, but you brought it back into focus so clearly.
Your reflection on Joseph was powerful too, it’s easy to skip over those years of waiting, but that’s where so much of the real work was happening.
Thank you for the honesty and encouragement. This felt like a conversation with a friend who understands.
Thank you Chris. I have been in a season of waiting for over 5 years now. Felt abandoned by the Lord many times because He was silent and seemingly not doing anything to change my circumstances, but I recently realised that its a season of waiting. Possibly preparation. So I started doing serious Bible study daily. Keeping a prayer journal and working on my relationship with the Lord while I wait. I have to remind myself to choose to trust in Him daily and that He is in control and always with me. This helps me to keep going. God bless you Chris.
I am waiting and Praying for my Beloved Daughter’s marriage, I am 61 years old widower, PLEASE PRAY FOR MY FAMILY

Thanks, Ally. I appreciate your kind words.
Thank you, Chris ... I really needed this today 🙏😌❤️🔥
You are very welcome. 😊
Makes me think of missions-driven Paul, who was stuck in prison...and all he could do was write letters.
Yes, he was in a waiting season that wasn’t his chosing. Still, he made the most of those moments of waiting.
It's clear that God's idea of "most" is far superior to ours...considering the eternal value of those letters!
I love the story of Joseph! Such a great reminder to wait on God and His timing and not try to do it all on our own.
That’s the hardest part, isn’t it?

First of all, your perspective is off. Your not waiting - your resting.
There’s no better place to be, then with God.
Rest knowing you’ll spend eternity with God.
