The amount of waiting on the LORD was historically a long time. It grew in them a hope in the LORDs faithfulness to his promises long before they were given a law to follow. The commands were simple and specific to each of them.

Beautiful article.

“Do not miss the life God has given you while you are waiting for the life you have asked Him for”. Such powerful words!! A great reminder for me in what often feels like a “never ending waiting season”. I keep trusting Him, praying about EVERYTHING as I continue living my life. I definitely know the meaning of patience. 🤣 I wouldn’t change any of it because I’m not writing my story, God is. 🙏 😊

What a relief to know that yes, God is the author of our individual stories. That knowledge takes a burden off one's shoulders.

It’s interesting cause you speak of predestination. Not many people believe in it sad to say. It’s all through the Bible. In fact prophecy screams of it but those are all just examples. I believe in it. Trust God. His word will last forever.

This is so true I remember years ago hearing a quote like this if we’re always staring at the past which cannot be changed or we are looking at the future which hasn’t happened yet then we are missing the present🎁💝☕️🍷🤗🎶💖of our today💃💃💃😎😎😎💖💖💖

This has been a major encouragement for me in a tumultuous season. God is here, especially now. God is blessing, already now, perhaps in ways different from those I had hoped, but blessing nevertheless. And God is faithful and good, always. Thank you!
